After being raped by local aristocrat Jason Uqmadze, village girl Christine attempts suicide, but villagers pull her from the river. Rescued, she seeks a fresh start and befriends Sona, who claims to be a benefactor. Instead, Sona leads Christine to a brothel, betraying her trust.
