Joan Fry, a society woman, becomes entangled in Chinatown after falling for Chuck Riley, the white head of a powerful gang. Their passionate affair drags her into the dangerous underworld, and as Chuck sees how deeply she loves him he realizes his own feelings and still vows to protect her. Meanwhile, rival boss “Boston” Charley has his own plans.
