Chantabbai

An amateur detective at Universal Detective Agency who idolizes James Bond and mimics him in look and bravado. He is routinely dismissed by police and colleagues, yet his persistence gradually uncovers the truth. He falls in love with Jwala and later becomes head of the agency after solving the first case. His eccentric methods and determination drive the investigation.

A self-employed telephone cleaner whose friendship with Pandu becomes romantic. She is skeptical of Pandu's detective skills at first, but her trust deepens as the case progresses. She is initially implicated in the murder but is cleared as Pandu uncovers the truth and protects her.
