Maria, an innkeeper who is always a bride but never a wife, meets newcomer Pierre, whose arrival upsets the quiet village and shows the locals how to enjoy life. The film bursts with colourful fireworks, warm humor and a whimsical mosaic narrative that feels like a carousel of human situations. Inspired by naïve art, French impressionism, silent slap‑stick and Western Slovak folk traditions, it creates an anarchic summer fantasy that ends with unexpected, laugh‑filled delight.
