Líba’s annual birthday wish is for the whole family to gather, and they always oblige—until this year. Her son Petr fakes illness to avoid the celebration, hoping to spend the day with his friend Karl, whose birthday falls on the same date and who holds a long‑kept secret from the family. Determined not to miss her party, Líba surprises everyone by moving into the house, forcing Petr to improvise a wild cover story: he introduces Karl as a work colleague and Karl’s sister Veronika as his girlfriend. As the ruse unravels, the day spirals into a frantic, comedic roller‑coaster of lies and revelations.
