Amid rising pressure from victims and the public, Cardinal Barbarin arranges a press conference. During the event, he mistakenly states that the abuse is 'thank God prescribed,' further infuriating and shocking those affected by the scandal.

Despite the challenges they face, the association succeeds in getting Father Preynat indicted, marking a significant victory for the victims. Preynat acknowledges the facts, prompting hope that their actions can compel changes within the Catholic hierarchy.
