Bloody Mary

That night in Vizag, traffickers attack the orphanage. The director is killed and all but three children are abducted. Mary overhears her mother's death during the chaos. Because she did not actually witness the crime, the police do not register her statement.

Several years pass. Mary works at a hospital and takes care of two disabled boys, Basha (mute) and Raju (deaf). They rely on her for support and form a makeshift family.

Dr. Kantha Rao, a doctor at the same hospital, offers Mary an opportunity she has been seeking. She accompanies him to the place he mentions, where he makes improper advances toward her. She resists his advances.

In the ensuing scuffle, Mary pushes Rao, leading to his death. The incident marks the start of a dangerous pattern surrounding her life.

That same day, Basha goes to a film director’s office to audition and witnesses Kala assault him, leading to the director’s death. The scene ties the children’s fate to a broader, corrupt network.

Prabhakar, Kala’s husband and a local inspector, follows Kala after the incident and kills the director. His action implicates a wider trafficking web and brings him into Mary’s orbit.

Prabhakar launches an investigation into Rao’s death and becomes suspicious of Mary. He interrogates Mary, Basha, and Raju as the case grows more complex.

Mary, with Basha and Raju, anonymously blackmails Prabhakar for money in exchange for the video of him killing the director. The plan seeks to secure their safety and leverage against him.

Prabhakar tracks down the blackmail call and destroys the video evidence. He also learns that Mary is partially blind, giving him leverage against her.

Mary bluff that she has moved the video to another computer and reaches out to Sekhar Babu, offering him the evidence in exchange for safety. He is a powerful local businessman and trafficking figure.

Mary uses Kala’s confession on camera through bluffing, and realizes Sekhar Babu is the trafficker who killed her mother and is planning to traffic their organs. The truth tightens Mary’s resolve to act.

Mary calls Prabhakar and pits him against Sekhar Babu. In the ensuing clash, Prabhakar eliminates most of Sekhar Babu’s henchmen while Mary kills Sekhar Babu.

Eight years pass and Mary, now alias Devi, heads a large social welfare organization in Mumbai, surrounded by unproven allegations of crime and influence. Her power suggests a shadowy ascent.

The government appoints Prabhakar to investigate Devi’s organization, pulling him into a complex political and criminal landscape as their past collides again.

Prabhakar meets Devi and she details her rise, warning him not to interfere. The scene ends with a hint toward a sequel titled The Rise of Bloody Devi and a potential political ascent.
