Blade Babji

Babji, a skilled pickpocket from Rajahmundry, hatches a plan to raise ₹4 crore to rescue the slum dwellers from a ruthless builder. He recruits a gang to pull off a major bank heist to fund the rescue. The mission is driven by crime as well as a drive to bring social change to his community.

The crew travels to Vizag to rob a bank and execute their plan with precision. They stash the loot at a building under construction for safekeeping. The heist sets the story in motion and foreshadows future complications.

After burying the money, the gang celebrates with drinks and falls asleep on a boat. The vessel sails away, taking them to the Andaman Islands for a month-long absence. Their attempt to stay hidden marks a turning point in the plot.

When they return, they discover a police control room has taken over the very spot where the loot was buried. This makes the retrieval far more dangerous and complicated.

To access official resources, Babji kidnaps a newly joined officer, Krishna Manohar, masquerading as him. He uses the disguise to ingratiate himself with the police and gain legitimacy. The imposture becomes a key element of his plan.

Babji quickly proves his skills to the other officers and earns their trust. The police commissioner even invites him to marry his daughter Archana, tying his fate to the force. His success blurs the line between his criminal past and his new role.

After a struggle, Babji's gang locates the buried loot and tries to retrieve it by disguising as a bomb squad. They hope the cover will let them recover the money without raising alarms. The plan hinges on the element of surprise.

Dharma Rao, a mason who watched the burial, eventually digs into the mystery and finds the money stuffed in a mattress. His wife unknowingly sells the mattress as scrap to a street seller. A police complaint about the missing mattress triggers the chain of custody.

Dharma Rao's missing mattress tale leads Babji to trace the mattress to a local don, Banda Badri. Meanwhile, Simham overhears the case and seizes the mattress to safeguard the loot; he moves all the money into a suitcase and discards the mattress. The money now travels through a web of hands.

Constable Edukondalu, who possesses a similar-looking suitcase, unknowingly takes the suitcase that truly contains the loot. The suitcases are exchanged in a chain until Babji's gang ends up with the one containing the money. The tension escalates as the true loot surfaces.

Babji's gang finally opens the suitcase and finds the loot waiting inside. They rejoice at the fortune, but the net tightens as police and rivals close in. The moment crystallizes the high-stakes nature of their operation.

Krishna Manohar escapes and informs the police of Babji's fraud, triggering a highway chase. A terrorist group plants RDX in a similar suitcase, causing a blast during the skirmish. In the end, Badri interrupts the handover to the builder, Babji convinces everyone to surrender the loot for a greater good, the builder donates the land to the slum dwellers, and the loot is recovered by the police.
