The story concludes with Elena and Jesse driving away together, symbolizing their pursuit of freedom and authenticity. However, their departure is shadowed by the chaos and violence that brought them here. Their relationship, built on deception, passion, and brutality, suggests that their future remains uncertain and unstable. The ending leaves viewers questioning whether their love is genuine or just another dangerous game, highlighting how appearances can be deceiving and how desire can lead characters to reveal their true selves—sometimes at a deadly cost. The film ultimately presents a haunting reflection on the destructive power of obsession and the illusion of perfection, leaving us to wonder if anyone can truly escape the masks they wear.
