Jimmy Jump strives to satisfy his conflicting parents—his father demanding toughness, his mother nurturing his sensitivity. Wanting to marry his girlfriend, he takes a job at his father’s iron foundry but fails. He then goes to a gritty dance hall to impress her, delivering a memorable parody of an Isadora Duncan routine.
