Ang Darling Kong Aswang

A group of aswangs led by Batang begins to wreak havoc in a sleepy village in the middle of the night. The attacks sow fear among villagers as people fall prey to the creatures. This opening sequence establishes the menace that drives the story.

Elisa and her mother Ida are caught by Barang, along with Beta, Alpha and Keka, while they are eating animal flesh. They manage to escape the trap, narrowly avoiding capture. The incident confirms Barang's reach and raises the stakes for Elisa and Ida.

Victor is introduced as a widower with two daughters, living with his father Do, the village captain, and cousin Tom. He works at a company and maintains a busy, loving household. The setup creates a contrast with Elisa's secret life that will collide with his family.

Elisa and Ida seek safety at Banong's house, a relative's refuge from the danger in the village. Banong offers shelter as the sisters' presence looms over the area. The refuge foreshadows future tensions between the normal world and the curse.

When Elisa and Ida arrive, Victor is instantly drawn to Elisa's beauty and begins courting her. Ida supports the romance, believing that true love may break the curse. Their budding relationship begins to draw the attention of Victor's family and friends.

Elisa reluctantly reveals to Victor that she is an aswang, exposing her true nature. Despite the revelation, Victor chooses to accept her and pursue the relationship. The confession deepens their bond while keeping the danger alive.

Do speaks with Aileen and Angel, who eventually approve of the relationship. Do suggests a Church wedding, but Ida opts for a simple civil ceremony to be held on a full moon. The plan ties the romance to a ritual moment that could test Elisa's curse.

Alpha, Beta and Keka attack Banong's house, threatening Elisa and Ida. Banong is found lifeless and Ida goes missing in the assault. The sisters' raid escalates the danger surrounding Elisa and those she cares about.

Elisa urges Victor to salt the house to ward off the aswangs, and they seek help from Nana Simang for protection. The salt ritual marks a shift to practical defense against the threat. The community starts to marshal defenses around the family.

The sisters return to attack, and Alpha and Keka are killed by a Stingray tail, a weapon used to kill aswangs. The immediate threat is repelled, but danger remains. Elisa's resolve and the group's defenses grow stronger in the wake of the attack.

Do reveals that his ancestors were aswangs, but his father turned away from that path with the help of Father Anton. The revelation reframes Elisa's lineage and the family's responsibility in the fight against the curse. The backstory provides motive for their struggle ahead.

Victor, Tom and Jerry travel to Barang's lair with Mang Pek's instruments to combat the aswangs and rescue Elisa. They battle rivals and kill Gino and Joaquin before making an escape. The mission escalates toward the final confrontation with Barang.

A herd of aswangs attacks as the group moves toward the Church with Aileen, Angel, Tom and Jerry. Victor fights Barang while Elisa is seriously wounded. She grasps the Cross held by Father Anton and seems to break the curse, at least momentarily. The church sequence marks the turning point of the story.

As they try to leave the Church, Tom and Jerry abruptly transform into aswangs, turning the hopeful moment into horror. Victor, Elisa and the others scream in horror as the narrative ends on a chilling note. The cost of the cure is paid in a tragic twist.
