Alex and Erica Boyer are a young couple whose marriage falters. Alex, though blessed with a loving wife, a beautiful home and a high‑paying job, feels trapped. After Erica’s accident leaves her confined to a wheelchair and needing a private nurse, the attractive Lisa arrives, and Alex begins to view her as a solution to both his own dissatisfaction and his wife’s plight, leading to a tangled, darkly comedic situation.
