Ricky Sharma, a charismatic leading fashion photographer who wears his heart on his sleeve, starts with a volatile memory: a confrontation with Sheena Roy about her friend Nisha, who was left heartbroken and contemplating suicide after being dumped by him. The tension between love, pride, and reputation threads through the early part of the story as Ricky’s past decisions loom over his present life.

Three years down the line, Ricky is preparing for a major photography exhibition when an anonymous billionaire investor enters the scene and purchases every piece before they can be displayed. The investor, Raj, lays down a bold condition: Ricky must seduce and sleep with Raj’s wife Sheena in order to secure a future where she won’t divorce him and claim half of his wealth. The arrangement is shocking, but Raj insists the marriage must survive on terms that keep his fortune intact.

After some initial resistance, a risky alliance forms and the two begin a relationship that unfolds under the backdrop of Raj’s calculated game. Raj catches Ricky and Sheena Roy in a compromising moment, yet Sheena remains unfazed. She openly defies the idea of a divorce and makes it clear that she plans to continue with Ricky while staying married, effectively rejecting Raj’s attempt to end the relationship on his own terms. The dynamic is tense, brittle, and morally complex, with everyone playing a dangerous game of loyalty and desire.

Feeling boxed in, Raj urges Ricky to return to India, but Ricky refuses, enjoying the high life she has helped him secure. Raj is stunned by this defiance but presses on with his plan in unexpected ways. Then a party at Raj’s mansion shifts the balance of power once again when Nisha attends and later claims that Ricky raped her, throwing a devastating accusation into the air.

The following morning, a furious Sheena confronts Ricky, and in a moment of rage, she murders him with a sword. A police investigation soon centers on Sheena as the prime suspect. In a startling turn, Raj confesses to the murder. When Sheena visits him in jail, he transfers all his property to her after discussing what happened. A routine police search of the couple’s home retrieves a few items, and they uncover a hidden camera inside Raj’s stress ball, revealing the sequence of events that led to Ricky’s death. Sheena is arrested, and she eventually transfers Raj’s property back to him.

What emerges is a meticulously engineered scheme: Raj is not merely a gambler with a taste for control—he orchestrated the entire drama because he is secretly in love with Nisha. In a final twist, Raj gives Nisha the property papers as a symbol of his true feelings. The scene closes with a puzzled policeman looking on as Raj and Nisha drive away, and Raj nonchalantly throws the stress ball, remarking, Aisa to aksar hota hai.
