Three years have passed since the events of the previous film, and in 2023 the duo Rudranil Ghosh as Rajat and Ankush Hazra as Anupam try to slip back into their old lives, but nothing quite fits the way it once did. Rajat has become intensely devout, a devoted follower of Lord Krishna, a change that unsettles his boss and his colleagues. At the same time, Anupam resumes his cooking duties for his wife, Nusraat Faria Mazhar, who also steps into the political fray, leading protests and stirring activity around him. On the home front, Rajat’s wife, Priyanka Sarkar Malati, and Anupam’s wife, Sohini Sarkar Maya, watch the shifting dynamic with wary eyes as their husbands navigate newfound roles and loyalties.

A chance call from a stranger, Ganesh Maity a.k.a. Bullet Singh Anirban Bhattacharya, drags them into a riskier game. Bullet claims that his late father has left a 100 crore fortune and offers to share half with Rajat and Anupam, but there’s a catch: they must reach Bangkok within three days to stake their claim. Tempted by the promise, the two men decide to disappear from their wives’ sight, telling them they’ve got money from an insurance policy, and set off for Thailand with ulterior motives. They are welcomed in Bangkok by Michael Saurav Das, the manager of the property, and for a moment the lure of quick riches seems real.

The following morning, reality hits hard: their bags are gone, and they are brought before Bolihari, a dangerous gangster and Mafia boss, along with his daughter Matahari. Bolihari insists that Bullet doesn’t actually own 100 crores; instead, Bullet owes a debt of 100 crores for Zico’s failure to repay. The tension grows as concerns spread back in Kolkata, where the wives and the police are now alerted. The commissioner reconnects with Zico, who reveals that Bullet was deceived to shed him from the scheme. Fearful for their husbands, Maya, Rai, and Malati decide to travel to Bangkok with help from the Indian Police, aiming to bring home their partners.

Rajat, Anupam, and Bullet soon confront the peril of being hunted for debt and punishment. In a pivotal moment, Rajat cries out “Hare Krishna,” a stunt that forces Bolihari to pause their execution and grants them a reprieve. The twist reveals Bolihari and Matahari are not simply criminals—they are devotees of Lord Krishna, and Bolihari ties a new condition to the deal: if any three of them marry his daughter, all loans will be waived. Anupam and Bullet quickly scheme that Rajat will marry Matahari to secure the bond, a plan that shocks Rajat because he is already married to Maya. Yet Anupam has already plotted behind his friend’s back, and the wedding is arranged for the same day as the pursuit intensifies, with the three wives arriving along with the Royal Thai Police to arrest Bolihari.

As the three men enter the wedding scene, guests praise Maya, who is dressed in a saree, and the trio fear exposure, switching to Western attire to keep things under wraps. Rajat, reluctantly stepping into the ceremony, collapses during the vermilion rite and is presumed dead, a ruse that backfires on Matahari’s plans. But Anupam sees Michael smiling nearby, and the truth emerges: Michael’s real name is Madhusudan Dutta, a schemer involved in Kolkata’s shadowy financial scams and a man who fled to Bangkok under a false persona. Madhusudan admits his past with the Saradha and Rose Valley-type scandals and reveals his liking for Matahari, though his real identity had been hidden due to a history of deceit among Indian men who chased wealth.

Rajat awakens and insists that they must return to India with their wives. Matahari arrives in tears, and the wives—accompanied by Bullet—reunite to reveal their solidarity as they prepare to leave. The plan to move Rajat to a coffin and fly out of Bangkok is thwarted when Matahari’s suspicions surface, but the situation escalates into a confrontation in which Bolihari and his gang are arrested by the police. Seizing the moment, Rajat, Anupam, and Bullet slip away toward a dock, aiming for a final escape by boat to the airport. Matahari, armed and furious at being deceived, corners them, but the three wives intervene, and Madhusudan materializes to declare his love for Matahari, who finally accepts him, ending their tension with a kiss.

In the aftermath, the men cope with the consequences of their botched schemes while the wives assert their own strength. The captors are subdued, the criminals are taken into custody, and the Bangkok escape turns into a tense but hopeful resolution as the families begin the long journey back to India. The film closes with a sense of renewed partnership among the couples, as Matahari and Madhusudan’s union hints at a more complex future, and the women’s resolve to “break the balls” of trouble signals a humorous, if irreverent, note of resilience and solidarity. > Hare Krishna
