It shows how most followers, unaware of the plot, struggled to rebuild their lives and faith amid nationwide condemnation. The film centers on Hiroshi Araki, a young member thrust into the role of chief spokesman, confronting public hostility and the unsettling reality that many believers remained devoted despite the cult’s violent legacy.
