A survivor of the 1995 sarin gas attack in Tokyo’s subway system journeys with a current executive of Aleph, formerly Aum Shinrikyo, the group responsible for the attack. Together, they revisit their respective hometowns and the university they both attended. Through intimate conversations, the film explores Araki's reasons for joining the cult led by Shoko Asahara and his continued involvement, despite not being directly involved in the crimes. The journey becomes a complex exploration of human connection and individual paths.
