With his mother’s presence, Lucas starts to speak again, expressing his desire to leave the hospital. His family begins to accept their loss and start living again.

Lucas’s emotional recovery progresses as he and his mother, Isabelle, finally accept the death of her husband. They begin to find a new sense of normalcy and hope to live again.
