The elegant wife of a doctor finds a passionate love letter tucked in a raincoat pocket, apparently from a rumba dancer to her husband. He deflects suspicion by claiming the note is meant for a more modest friend, sparking gossip that the friend is secretly a fervent lover, which intrigues the town’s women, including the jealous doctor’s own spouse.
