Popeye and Olive launch a diner, bursting into song with the title tune. Their first patrons are Wimpy, who dupes them with his “I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday” line, and the hulking Bluto, who orders six sandwiches and then refuses to pay. A brawl ensues, and Popeye must rely on his trusty spinach to triumph.
