Watch Out, We’re Mad

Ben, an off-road racer, is preparing for the next rallycross and eagerly eyes the prize: a red Puma dune buggy with a yellow top. He trains and imagines glory on the track. The Kid arrives as a rival with talent and a clear eye on the same dune buggy.

During the rallycross, Ben and The Kid clash on the course as both push hard to win. The Kid proves his talent, fueling a growing rivalry for the coveted dune buggy. The crowd watches their duel for victory unfold.

In a surprising turn, Ben and The Kid finish first in a dead heat and sprint toward the dune buggy at the same moment. They reach the prize together and are both declared winners. The shared victory sparks a heated dispute over who truly deserves the car.

Seeking a fair decision, they try to settle the dispute with bets. A card game and an arm-wrestling match are considered, but they move on to a 'beer and hot-dog' eating contest at the fairground pub. The competition becomes a test of appetite as well as pride.

The Boss’s men crash the beerhouse, tearing up the place and threatening patrons. Ben and Kid refuse to abandon the buggy despite the danger, but as they depart a passing car rams the dune buggy, wrecking it. The hopes of winning a second time are suddenly crushed.

The two storm into the Boss’s restaurant during a dance party and demand a replacement for the wrecked buggy. The Doctor taunts the Boss, claiming Ben and Kid are spoiled children who need a father figure, warning that giving in would cause harmful psychology. The Boss broods, weighing punishment against concession.

To intimidate them, Attila is ordered to torch Ben’s car, but the plan backfires. The burning vehicle is extinguished only when Ben and Kid speed into a nearby car wash, saving themselves and the car’s remains from total destruction. The clash between rivals continues to escalate.

Seeking leverage, Kid pushes the Boss to replace the buggy, but the first attempt ends in a brutal brawl in the fairgrounds’ gym where Ben and Kid defeat Attila and his men. Enraged, the Boss unleashes a motorcycle gang to pursue them. The pursuit drives the action deeper into Luna Park.

The Boss escalates by sending Paganini, a deadly Chicago Underworld assassin, after them. The duo evades the killer but lures him away from Ben’s place toward the choir rehearsal. The chase shifts from forest roads toward a public confrontation amid the fair’s spaces.

Paganini confronts them in the middle of a choir repetition, and Ben is kicked out of the choir. Kid corners the assassin and, at gunpoint, forces him to perform a violin piece inside the Boss’s restaurant. The audacious showdown marks a turning point in their feud.

After Jeremias, Ben’s trusted assistant, is found beaten in his garage, Ben heads to the Boss’s restaurant to confront him. Kid joins, they force their way in with Ben’s car and demolish it inside, leading to a massive brawl with the Boss’s henchmen. The fight becomes a personal battle over justice and the prize.

The Boss finally offers two dune buggies, one for each of them. While they celebrate, the Kid is distracted by Liza and crashes Ben’s buggy, which bursts into flames. Ben and Kid end the tale with a shared question: which of them will truly deserve the remaining prize?
