The crew navigates the fallout of the rescue, while Simon gains resources that could help River’s condition or future surgeries. The medical aid helps stabilize Mal for transport back to the ship.

With Mal’s injuries stabilizing, he jokes that he must sleep with Zoe to deal with lingering sexual tension between them.
