During a period of colonial conflict, the British discover that Tok Gajah plans to travel to Terengganu to gain the Sultan's support and rally local heroes. Determined to stop him, the British order Tok Gajah's capture and the suppression of his followers. Awang is compelled to rescue Haji Sulong and ensure Tok Gajah's safe passage out of Pahang and into Terengganu. He confronts numerous challenges and engages in fierce battles against British forces commanded by Captain Syers.
