Through three pivotal decades—1937, 1947 and 1970—the film traces Chile’s political evolution, showing how reformist aspirations clash with entrenched power. It argues that genuine revolution cannot be achieved through elections alone, and that when the elite’s privileges are threatened, they enlist the armed forces to suppress the movement.
