Set in a near‑future where crime has surged, the government creates a penal facility called the Vortex. After Vincent kills a would‑be robber in self‑defence, the system labels him a criminal and sends him to the Vortex, where each inmate must repeatedly reenact their crimes. Vincent’s first victim there is his neighbour Carl.
