A man in a red shirt, the Visitor, watches from a distance as Kiyoshi waits for a train. He strikes with a rock through a window, knocking Kiyoshi unconscious. The intrusion marks the Visitor as a disruptive force the family cannot ignore.

Keiko bears visible scars as the home falls apart. Takuya vandalizes the apartment, and Keiko injects heroin as the family endures the Visitor as a quiet observer. The scene sets a grim rhythm of coercion and self-destruction.

Kiyoshi returns home with the Visitor accompanying him and announces that the Visitor will stay for a while. The household slips further into ritualized violence under the Visitor's watch. The family adapts to this new, perverse normal.

Keiko continues her prostitution, punctuating it with a client being disciplined with a belt. She later goes to a park to seek heroin, illustrating a home consumed by addiction. The couple's life becomes a rotating sequence of exploitation and self-destruction.

Back at home, puzzle pieces on the floor are rearranged into a trail that ends at a photograph of the daughter. The Visitor teaches Keiko a strange lactation technique, turning private bodies into a disturbing shared ritual. The scene underscores how intimacy here has become coercive and performative.

Keiko prepares a lavish dinner that momentarily warms the house. Takuya throws hot soup at his mother, and Keiko calmly responds before returning with a carving knife, tipping the family into a harsher mode of ritualized violence.

The next day, Takuya is bullied again while Kiyoshi tapes from his car with the Visitor and a co-worker. The co-worker tries to leave and is assaulted; the Visitor records, and Kiyoshi unintentionally smothers the victim to death. The death intensifies the family’s downward spiral and prompts a disposal plan.

The dead body is moved to the greenhouse, and Keiko strips down, lactation surging as the Visitor watches beneath an umbrella. The scene marks a shift from voyeurism to a perverse domestic rite.

Kiyoshi and Keiko begin a macabre preparation, drawing on the corpse with a marker and filming as they dismember it. He grows aroused by the sight, but his hand becomes smeared with feces and he is stuck by the body's stiffness. They dissolve remains with vinegar and lean on heroin to stay calm enough to continue.

Dismemberment continues as the family appears to cohere through pain and control under the Visitor's departure. A chilling sense of complicity remains, with the house still echoing with their perverse rituals.

Outside, the Visitor encounters Miki again, who is bruised by his presence. She returns home to find her parents gathered in the greenhouse, her mother masked with a tarpaulin and her father nursing at the daughter's breast. Miki joins the family in a final, grotesque synthesis of violence and care controlled by the Visitor.
