A short film dramatizing the true 1940 story of Japanese Consul Chiune Sugihara in Lithuania, who, together with his supportive wife, risked punishment from Tokyo and defied Nazi pressure by issuing thousands of transit visas that enabled Jewish refugees to escape persecution and gain a chance at survival.
