Vengeance of an Assassin

Thee and Than grow up under their uncle Ping, who runs a car repair shop. They are curious about a locked room the uncle forbids them to enter. Their upbringing is framed by the promise that they will be kept away from the detectives' dangerous world.

One evening the brothers drench the uncle in alcohol and sneak into the forbidden room. They discover evidence that their parents were undercover detectives who were killed in an ambush. The discovery shatters their sense of family history and sets Thee on a path to uncover the truth.

The uncle, who was also a detective, swears to raise them as normal children and protect them from his former life. Thee chooses to pursue the truth about their parents, while Than remains in the shop and starts martial arts training by studying VHS tapes. The seed of a split path is planted.
