In suburban San Fernando Valley, a snail named Turbo, also known as Theo, dreams of becoming a race champion. Inspired by the legendary Guy Gagné, Turbo's ambition sets him apart from his timid snail community, leading to tension as he yearns for speed.

During a daring attempt to retrieve a fallen tomato, Turbo faces a life-threatening moment under a lawnmower. This brush with death unexpectedly leads him to a busy freeway where he witnesses the exhilarating speed of passing cars.

In a moment of desperation, Turbo wishes for incredible speed as he observes an airplane overhead. This wish sets the stage for a transformative event as he finds himself enveloped in the supercharger of a Chevrolet Camaro, drastically changing his fate.

After an incredible surge of energy, Turbo awakens to discover he now possesses incredible superspeed and agility akin to a high-performance car. This newfound ability shapes his identity and future ambitions.
