A tough bulldog named Spike teams up with his admirer, a tiny dog called Chester, to intimidate a cat named Sylvester. The chase leads them into a junkyard where an escaped zoo panther lurks. Mistaking the panther for Sylvester, Spike is clawed, while Chester easily pummels the real cat, convincing Spike that Chester is tougher.
