Cam is a NYC bike messenger who rents a garage from Angie. During a run, he wrecks his bike after a stranger named Nikki causes an accident while escaping from the police. Two Tong enforcers, Jerry and Hu, seize his check and warn that he is behind on a $15,000 loan to the Tong.

Cam spends his free time trying to fix his late father's 1967 Pontiac GTO in his garage. He keeps busy while the debt burdens him, hoping for a quick solution.

Cam finds Nikki to thank her for the bike and tries to copy her parkour, but fails to match her skill. He then meets Nikki's group, who warn him about the dangers of parkour.

Cam is invited to train with the group and is formally introduced to Jax, Tate, Dylan, and Miller. He quickly proves to be a valuable asset during their workouts.

After a workout, Jerry and Hu arrive and take Cam's father's car, shaving off 5,000 from his debt. They warn him that he has one month to pay the rest and threaten Angie and her son if he fails.

Angie, angry and fed up, packs Cam's belongings and kicks him out of the home. She makes it clear he must fend for himself while still being pursued by the Tong debt.

Cam joins the group's work, and Miller lays down two rules: call him immediately if he gets into trouble and stay out of Chinatown. The rules set the boundaries of his new life with the crew.

Cam explains to Angie that he took the Tong loan to save his sick mother and her house, but the money was not enough to stop foreclosure. Unfortunately, his mother dies a week after.

Jerry and Hu beat Cam for missing payments and give him two weeks to pay off the debt. They threaten Angie and Joey if he fails.

At a party, Cam makes a move on Nikki, who initially reciprocates but later leaves. Miller arrives to collect Nikki, revealing his control; Nikki apologizes to Cam for not being honest.

During their biggest heist yet, the crew targets a bank run by Vietnamese gangsters. They discover the money had already been moved and flee as reinforcements close in. In the chaos, Jax is killed and Cam is arrested.

Miller reveals himself as James Hatcher, a corrupt DEA agent, and offers to free Cam by turning him into a confidential informant for one last job.

On the day of the heist, Miller, Cam, and Dylan go to a Russian safehouse to steal diamonds. Nikki realizes Cam is being set up and tries to save him. Miller steals the diamonds and almost kills Cam, but guards arrive and attack them.

Cam leads Miller into Chen's restaurant, where Chen reminds Miller that he violated Chinatown. Cam then hands the diamonds to Chen, clearing his debt, and Chen has Miller sent away to Macau.

Jerry congratulates Cam for clearing his debt and returns his father's fully restored car. Cam and Nikki drive off together, starting anew in the city.
