A wealthy patriarch leaves a will that stipulates his children inherit his fortune only if at least one of them fathers a grandchild within a year of his death. His son, who is gay, and his daughter, a lesbian, are thrust into a frantic race against time to produce an heir, testing family bonds and expectations.
