Set in 1940s São Paulo, Pedro is sent to bring back his estranged brother André. André fled because of a domineering father, an overly affectionate mother, and Pedro’s resentment toward the father’s obvious favoritism. Their family drama deepens with André’s unconventional relationship with sister Ana, forcing Pedro to confront his jealousy and loyalty.
