Thithikudhe

In a quiet village, Chinnu and Anu share carefree days filled with songs and laughter. Before Anu's family relocates when her father is transferred, she gives Chinnu a beautiful musical watch as a token of their bond. This tiny gift seals a cherished memory that will haunt both of them.

Chinnu's mother dies suddenly, leaving him to be raised by Chandramohan's family. He grows up under their care and becomes known as Venu, developing a deep attachment to his adoptive parents. He also finds solace in Chandramohan's music shop, where melodies keep his childhood close.

Venu clings to the memory of Anu, believing they will reunite someday. Meanwhile Anu, now known as Renu, writes a story about her life called Thithikudhe in a weekly magazine, hoping Chinnu will read it. The longing between them remains a guiding thread through years apart.

Sruthi arrives as a perceptive press reporter and befriends Venu. She quickly falls for his genuine nature, drawing closer as he remains unaware of her feelings. Their budding friendship adds a new layer to Venu's world.

A misunderstanding at Venu's sister's engagement leads to a night of heavy drinking where emotions spill over. In a distracted moment, Venu unconsciously gifts the musical watch to Sruthi, thanking her for her help.

The next day, Renu visits a store and discovers the watch on Sruthi. She recognizes it as a token from her beloved Chinnu, and Sruthi reveals that the watch came from Venu, explaining a missing memory. The revelation unsettles Renu and deepens the mystery of their past.

Venu pieces together the forgotten memory and confronts Sruthi, begging to keep the watch as a memory of his childhood friend. Sruthi is unsettled by the revelation and starts to sense that Venu's feelings for Anu may still be alive.

When Sruthi informs Renu of the situation, a dramatic turn occurs: Renu reveals she is Anu and realizes Venu's love is sincere. She decides to pursue him, choosing to keep her true identity hidden while winning his heart as the writer of her life.

Venu's world shifts when Renu, eager to see him perform, invites him to a TV stage to sing their friendship song, Mainave Mainave. Renu continues to conceal her identity, pursuing him as the author whose life she has chronicled.

Back home, the household faces mounting obligations with the sister's engagement and Chandramohan's daughter's wedding. Anu's arranged marriage to a minister's son is introduced by her father, who intends to block the romance.

Venu discovers in Thithikudhe that Renu is Anu and struggles between duty to his sister and his true feelings. He decides to step back to protect his sister's happiness, even lying to Anu that he loves another woman.

Shruti records the real reason behind Venu's withdrawal and shares it with Anu, triggering a realization that his love is genuine. Anu understands his sacrifice and rushes to reunite with him.

A dramatic chase ensues as goons hired by Anu's father and the minister pursue them. Venu is injured in the confrontation and rushed to the hospital.

In a quiet hospital moment, Anu places the idol of Hanuman near Venu and prays for his recovery. The musical watch falls from Venu's pocket, its melody guiding him toward wakefulness.

Venu opens his eyes to see Anu by his side and, at last, the families understand and accept their reunion. The story ends on a note of enduring love that survives misunderstanding and sacrifice.
