An ancient prophecy warns that one will rise from the earth’s depths. British Egyptologist Professor Morlant discovers a mystical jewel hidden in the tomb of an Oriental idol and believes it will grant him immortality. After his death, the cursed scholar returns, driven by vengeance against anyone who removed the jewel from his grave.
