Conor and Jock, two Cork teenagers who look alike, share clothes and a restless longing for a different life. Their home lives are complicated by tension and a sense of being stuck.

Mairead works at a fish shop in the English Market, trying to keep her family afloat. The strain between mother and son builds as adolescence pushes Conor toward trouble.

A narcotics trafficking boat capsizes off the southwest coast of County Cork, scattering 61 bales of cocaine worth millions. Rumors spread that one bale remains missing.

The pair steal two bicycles to pursue the missing stash, hoping to escape their troubled homes. Their plan hinges on finding the last bale and cashing in.

Unbeknownst to them, the bicycle carries a GPS tracker planted by Garda Healy, turning their ride into a trap. The pursuit quickly shifts from a reckless adventure to a dangerous game.

Their search leads them to a ruined castle where Ray, a disabled narcotics dealer, holds the missing bale. They steal it while he sleeps, triggering a furious wake-up and chase.

On the escape home, Conor's sweater left with Ray tears on barbed wire, tearing the bag and letting cocaine drip away. By the time they reach home, almost none of the stash remains.

Jock toasts their 'victory' with a drink and passes out, while Conor returns home to try to mend his relationship with Mairead. The mood stays tense as the search for stability continues.

Jock's father returns and violently assaults him, prompting a Garda visit. Healy arrives intending to arrest Jock's father and begins to grasp the family's abusive situation.

Refusing to quit, Healy tracks them down and even steals a nail gun to force his way into the boys' home. The confrontation tightens as the search narrows toward this family.

Ray confronts the trio and knocks out Healy, threatening Conor, Jock, and Mairead. The danger spirals as a local thug, Billy Murphy, enters the scene seeking revenge.

Billy Murphy arrives to exact revenge after being tricked into narcotics charges. The situation escalates as loyalties blur.

Conor engineers a quick ruse, making Ray believe Billy stole the coke, triggering a struggle during which Mairead knocks out both Ray and Billy.

The police arrive and arrest the group, and the media paints Healy as the hero of the tale despite the deception surrounding the events.

In the aftermath, Jock is placed into foster care with Conor and his mother, seeking a safer life away from the abuse that shaped them.
