The Two Faces of January

In 1962, con artist Chester MacFarland and his charming wife Colette arrive in Greece, eager to explore the beauty of the country. Their tour begins with a visit to the iconic Acropolis of Athens, where they bask in the sun and immerse themselves in rich history.

While enjoying their trip, Chester and Colette encounter Rydal, a charismatic tour guide who is engaging in dubious currency exchange scams. Intrigued by the couple, Rydal strikes up a conversation with Colette, sparking a series of interactions that hint at deeper connections.

The relationship between the MacFarlands and Rydal develops as they all share meals and experiences in Greece. Despite Chester's cautious demeanor, Colette and Rydal find themselves drawn into casual conversations that blur the lines of friendship and intrigue.

The peaceful atmosphere shatters when Paul Vittorio, a private detective, confronts Chester in their hotel room over his debts. In a chaotic struggle stemming from desperation, Chester accidentally kills Paul, thrusting the trio into a dark spiral of crime.
