Ruth, a Moabite woman, marries one of Elimelek’s sons. After Elimelek, his sons Mahlon and Chilion, and Naomi’s husband die, Naomi decides to return to Bethlehem. While Orpah departs, Ruth pledges to remain with Naomi, refusing to abandon her, embodying love and devotion amid the hardships of exile.
