After murdering his mother‑in‑law and wounding his father‑in‑law during a night‑time incident, Mark Schall turns himself in, insisting he cannot recall the attack. His attorneys uncover evidence suggesting the assaults occurred while he was sleepwalking, and they build a defense around that hypothesis, arguing the case hinges on whether somnambulism can exempt him from responsibility.
