Talus departs for the Far East to seize the powerfully guarded Book of the Dead from Ramusan. His ambition is clear: take the throne by force and leave Horus's realm divided. The pursuit of the Book becomes a catalyst for a wider conflict.

To counter Talus, Horus brings in Mathayus and pairs him with Olaf, forging an uneasy alliance born of necessity. They head to Ramusan's realm to stand against Talus and protect Ramusan's interests. The fragile pact tests trust as danger closes in.

Talus kidnaps Silda, Ramusan's daughter, triggering a bold rescue mission. Ramusan promises Mathayus that if he saves Silda, he will earn the right to marry her. This bargain also serves to reclaim the crown Talus covets.

Silda is whisked away by Cobra's ninja army, complicating the rescue. Talus tasks Mathayus and Olaf with retrieving Silda—and even Cobra's head—as proof of their commitment. The pursuit leads them to an exile camp, where Cobra is revealed to be Silda in disguise, turning the mission into a trap.

Talus launches a brutal assault on Ramusan's palace and seizes the Book of the Dead, leaving Ramusan gravely injured. With the Book in his grasp, Talus reanimates three formidable figures: Zulu Kondo, Argomael, and Tsukai. The newly awakened trio prepare to test their master's authority.

The reanimated trio is ordered to kill Talus's rivals, proving their loyalty through brutal force. Tsukai and Zulu Kondo are sent to strike at the exiles' camp, intensifying the looming confrontation. Mathayus, Olaf, and Cobra's ninjas brace for impact.

In the exile camp clash, Mathayus, Olaf, and Silda's ninjas confront Zulu Kondo. Zulu Kondo falls in the brutal fight, while Tsukai escapes, hinting at the larger threat still at large. The balance of power tilts as loyalties shift.

Mathayus and Olaf return to Ramusan’s palace and stage a ruse, making it seem Cobra has been defeated and Silda was rescued. The deception buys them crucial time to regroup and press their next move against Talus.

Talus drags Silda to his sleeping chambers and Mathayus attacks directly. Tsukai intervenes at a critical moment, saving Talus from a fatal strike, buying Talus time to consolidate power.

Olaf's mission to seize the Book of the Dead brings him into a brutal confrontation with Argomael, testing his endurance and skill. The duel pushes Olaf to his limits as the fate of the Book hangs in the balance.

The ninjas descend with renewed urgency as Mathayus, Ramusan, and the reanimated trio fight to stop Tsukai and Argomael from completing their deadly tasks. Ramusan is gravely wounded and dies cradled in Silda's arms, a heavy toll of the conflict.
