Ten years after walking away from government service, Colonel Steve Austin is called back to stop a terrorist organization alongside his former partner, Jaime Sommers. His estranged son Michael, fresh from flight school, seeks his father’s approval, but a severe crash leaves him gravely wounded. Austin faces the painful choice of giving Michael the same bionic enhancements that once saved Jaime, while both he and Jaime grapple with their shared past.
