Peter Wilcox commands the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior, docking in Auckland in July 1985 to protest French nuclear testing in the South Pacific. A bomb rips the hull, killing a crew member, and Wilcox must convince the police superintendent it’s terrorism. The police chase the perpetrators, sparking events that nearly topple an allied government.
