Violet Vanderfeller, a pampered pet from an affluent family, is captured and placed in a busy city animal shelter. There she befriends a spirited group of dogs dedicated to finding forever homes for shelter animals. Determined to get back to her owners, Violet works with the gang and ultimately succeeds in reuniting with her family.
