Former Sergeant Diogenes Hernández runs the Universal, a modest private detective agency in central Bogotá, operating out of the same apartment he shares with his wife Fabiola. His nephew, Clemente Fernández, also works at the agency and has begun a relationship with Fabiola, navigating the tension of family loyalty while seeking connection in their lonely, impersonal city.
