For years, giant, sentient newts have been employed as laborers and laboratory subjects. In this short film, the Newt Congress convenes in a conference hall nestled in a natural setting, where officials and scientists debate ways to maximize the creatures' exploitation. The piece is a free adaptation of Karel Čapek’s novel War with the Newts.
