Félix, a clumsy young man, ends up in the Grand Hotel of Little Lagonda barefoot and in pajamas. Soon a hulking, hooded gangster with long legs follows him through the corridors. The hotel is under a plague quarantine, a pretext to create a controlled setting for oil‑company negotiations.
