Mannequin hands grip a pair of dice as a lofty castle crowns a hill, its modern villa below. Far from Paris, two masked men gamble in a bar, then set off on winding country roads toward the city. The opulent chateau returns—meticulous gardens, lavish interiors, eerie sculptures—yet its halls echo “no one.” Over the next two days, the masked group continues rolling dice, splashing by the pool and tossing a ball, when two more masked figures arrive, locate the dice and join in a surreal dance.
