The Mummy

In the year 1157 A.D., a solemn gathering of crusader knights takes place where they lay one of their fallen comrades to rest. The knight is buried clutching a precious jewel, signifying the importance of the artifact in their mission.

In present-day London, the catacombs unveil the long-hidden tombs of many crusaders. This moment sparks the interest of Dr. Henry Jekyll, a dedicated investigator drawn to the cryptic history surrounding these ancient warriors.

Dr. Jekyll's flashbacks introduce Princess Ahmanet, a warrior determined to rule, who longs to ascend the throne. Her ambitions are crushed when her father, Pharaoh Menehptre, has a son, igniting her desperate quest for power.

Feeling betrayed, Ahmanet makes a dark pact with Set, the god of death, in exchange for immense power. This moment marks her descent into darkness as she prepares to unleash her wrath upon her family.

In a fit of rage, Ahmanet murders her father, his wife, and her newborn half-brother. This act cements her fate as she is ultimately punished for her treachery by being mummified alive and entombed in a distant land.

In modern-day Mesopotamia, U.S. Army Sergeant Nick Morton and Corporal Chris Vail embark on a mission. Unbeknownst to them, they are about to unearth secrets long buried beneath the desert sands.

While engaging insurgents, Nick and Vail accidentally trigger an airstrike, leading to a devastating chasm revealing Ahmanet's tomb. This event sets off a chain of occurrences that will change their lives forever.

Following the tomb discovery, archaeologist Jenny Halsey confronts Nick, furious over his reckless theft of a crucial map. This tension foreshadows the complex relationship that will evolve between them as they delve deeper into ancient mysteries.

As they explore the tomb, Nick inadvertently releases Ahmanet's sarcophagus when he shoots a chain. This triggers a series of haunting visions for Nick, linking him to the curse that surrounds Ahmanet.

While on a return flight, Vail's condition worsens drastically after being bitten by spider creatures. In a shocking turn of events, he kills Colonel Greenway, forcing Nick to make the unthinkable choice of ending Vail’s life.

After the plane crash, Nick awakens in a morgue, haunted by the ghost of Vail. This supernatural encounter marks the beginning of Nick's continuous struggle with the effects of being linked to Ahmanet.

Ahmanet returns from her tomb, resurrecting an army of undead minions. Her revival poses an existential threat, forcing Nick and Jenny to fight not only for their lives but for the world itself.

Nick and Jenny seek refuge in Prodigium, a secret organization led by Dr. Jekyll, dedicated to combating dark forces. Here, amidst plans to fight the supernatural, they learn of a jewel critical for Ahmanet’s dark ritual.

Nick confronts Ahmanet for a final battle, grappling with the darkness that seeks to consume him. His choices ultimately dictate whether he saves Jenny and survives the ancient curse surrounding them.

In the aftermath, Jenny comes to terms with Nick's transformation, while Nick sets out on a new adventure across the desert. The resurrected Vail rides alongside him, hinting that the threat of ancient evil is not entirely vanquished.
