On June 27, 1980, a DC‑9 disintegrates over the Tyrrhenian Sea and crashes near the island of Ustica, killing all 81 aboard. Authorities attribute the disaster to structural failure, but a young journalist suspects a cover‑up and begins to pierce the “invisible wall” of deception erected by politicians and senior Air Force officials.
