Film producer Reggie Wilson, fearing a split personality, escapes Hollywood and ends up in England, where he marries the studio boss’s daughter and quickly rises through the studio ranks. Soon, he starts receiving passionate letters from a lovesick American actress demanding to know why he has abandoned her, drawing him into a tangled web of personal and professional intrigue.
