Formerly at the peak of his career, Fung is now a semi-retired gigolo who runs a nightclub called High X. He crosses paths with two inseparable friends, Monica and Sushi, who work as extras in film and television in a bid to survive in a tough industry. At Sushi’s birthday party, Monica finds herself stranded without a taxi, and Fung offers a ride home, sparking an unexpected connection that will weave their fates together in surprising ways.

After filming, Yi Tung, a charismatic madam, shows up on set and invites Sushi to a boat party where wealthy men abound. Sushi asks Monica to join, despite her initial reluctance, drawn by the lure of money and opportunity. Meanwhile, Sushi and her partner Dick face a separate financial deadline as they try to buy a place of their own. Fueled by grief and a desire for justice, Monica and Fung decide to take revenge on Big Dog and Mona, setting a plan in motion driven by a mix of loyalty, love, and revenge.

In the wake of these upheavals, Monica and Fung marry, seeking stability amid chaos. But their happiness is shattered at the wedding when Fung is murdered by a group of thugs hired by Isabel’s husband, who discovers that Isabel is carrying Fung’s baby while he himself is sterilized. The revelation rocks the couple to their core and reveals the fragile line between passion, betrayal, and consequence that courses through the lives of everyone involved, leaving the survivors to navigate the fallout and seek a new path forward in a world where past choices continue to echo through the present.
